​SCHOOL FEE

Thank you for your continued support of our school. Student fees are applied to every student in grades K-8th. The $125 fee will be added to your child's Aspen account. Fees are due by October 2, 2026. Beginning November 2nd the fee will increase to $150. Avoid late payment penalties by setting up a payment plan. There is a family max of $400 dollars for school fees only. The school fees cover a MAJORITY of the school supplies for students and (one) 1 bus per homeroom for field trips.  

School fees or a payment plan must be paid prior to participation in field trips - sports - events - extracurricular activities  as voted on by the LSC (Local School Council). To avoid having multiple unpaid fees on your account, we suggest paying before the next school year's fee is added. If field trips - sports - events - extracurricular activities are NOT paid or a payment plan not established prior to the school fee, the fee of the field trips - sports - events - extracurricular activities will be transferred to the year’s unpaid school fee.  All fees including school trips, graduation, etc. must be paid on Aspen Parent Portal. Cash and checks are no longer available for payment. If you have not created a Parent Portal account or need any assistance, call the school office.

No student will be denied required materials because of financial hardship. If you need to discuss a payment plan for the school fee, please call the school office. Determination of financial hardship will be made upon completion of the Family Income Form and the Student Waiver form that can be requested from the school office.  Fees will be waived for families that have completed all steps for a fee waiver. 

The School Fee pays for supplemental materials that are crucial for learning for all students such as:

  • MAJORITY of School Supplies- such as reams of paper, binders, glue sticks, post-it notes, etc.
  • Consumable materials for Reading, Math, Science and Social Studies (novels, vocabulary books, math workbooks, academic magazines for Reading, Social Studies, Science, and Health)
  • Academic Online programs such as: Reading A-Z and IXL
  • Student Planners
  • One bus per homeroom in grade K-8 to offset the cost of one student field trip each year.

How to pay fees and or past debt on Aspen Parent Portal.

  1. Log into CPS Parent Portal using your Username and Password. 
  2. On the top right corner of the page should be a button with three lines.  Click on it to open the sidebar menu. If you have more than one student on your parent portal account, you will have to toggle between the students accounts on the left side of the screen.
  3. Scroll down to the FEE tab.
  4. The student transaction page will open. To pay you need to click the box next to the fee or debt you want to pay.
  5. Once you have selected the line you want to pay for, the “pay online” button will be highlighted. Click on it and it will take you to the EPAY page to complete payment.

All payments must be made using the
