RED RIBBON WEEK
Canty School is celebrating Red Ribbon Week October 24th thru October 28th.
Red Ribbon Week was started in 1985 in response to the murder of DEA Agent Enrique Camarena. Parents and youth across the country began wearing Red Ribbons as symbols of their commitment to raise awareness about the devastating effects of drug and alcohol use. Monday, October 24th
"Love yourself, be drug free"
Students may wear a Red Shirt.
Tuesday, October 25th
"Team up against drugs"
Students may wear their favorite sports team shirt.
Wednesday, October 26th
"Too bright for drugs"
Students may wear Neon colors and/or sunglasses.
Thursday, October 27th
"Don't get mixed up with drugs"
Students may wear mismatched, mixed up clothes.
(ex: Polka dots & Stripes)
Friday, October 28th
"Our school chooses to be drug free"
Students may wear Canty logo wear or school colors.
